The location of this hotel in the centre of Fontenay-le-Comte was great, making it convenient to explore the town. The staff were very helpful, especially as they understood my poor French. The rooms were generous in size, with a separate room for the kids. The breakfast, costing only 7.90, was excellent and offered a variety of options including cereals and fruit juice.
The room could do with updating.

It was in a great and lovely location next door to Museum of Fontenay. The restaurant was great with good food and nice ambiance under the wisteria here, I had hot dishes. The staff was wonderful, they recommended restaurant for dinner.

I had a great stay at this hotel - it exceeded my expectations! the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Secondly, the location was perfect, right in the heart of Fontenay le Comte, convenient for exploring the town. Thirdly, the rooms were well-equipped with everything I needed, including tea and coffee making facilities - a real bonus! Lastly, the breakfast offered a good variety of options, including boiled eggs which were a nice touch.
All was wonderful, couldn't have asked for more.

the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, even upgrading our room for free. we enjoyed a delicious meal under the beautiful wisteria in the courtyard. having tea and coffee making facilities in the room was a real bonus.
